FAQs
can we place a pre-order for pickup or delivery?
We do not offer pre-orders, catering, or delivery. All of our products are baked on-premises daily and available exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis.
do you allow dogs in the bakery?
No. Much as we are animal lovers, we absolutely must abide by law as defined by the NYC Department of Health, which clearly states that only ADA certified service animals are allowed inside a food service establishment.
WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
Most pastries (besides specials) are on the counter between 7:30-8:00AM along with our breakfast focaccias. We put out some more focaccias in the late morning at 10AM. Lunch sandwiches come out at 11AM. If you are coming for something specific, it’s best to come close to those times to avoid disappointment. If you are coming just for a special item (not listed on our menu), the release time for these will be noted on our Instagram.
What time do you sell out?
Sell out times vary by day, but most pastries are sold out by 1PM or earlier. Breakfast focaccias usually sell out by 10AM. Sandwiches can sell out by 2-2:30PM on our busiest days, which are usually Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We close up shop once we are sold out of everything.
why can’t you just make more?
We are an artisanal bakery in a small space and much of what we make requires multiple days of prep. We utilize every available inch to bake as much as we can and will always sacrifice making more in favor of ensuring that what we do produce is as delicious as possible.
I see the lunch sandwiches being made, can i have one before 11am?
As noted above, we provide specific arrival times for our patrons so that they can plan their visits accordingly. If we start selling anything prior to the designated start time, we run the risk of selling out of something and not fulfilling our promised timetable. Given that we are a first-come, first-served establishment, we believe that this is the fairest way to give everyone an equal opportunity.
